INTRODUCTION
"Nothing good can ever happen to you unless you honor those who have paved the way before you." Music Impresario, Paul Collins
"I am privileged to have met and developed a personal relationship with several musical icons, I am but a young man... One being, Jay McShann legendary bandleader, Dr. Art Davis, legendary bassist and most recently Idris Muhammad, legendary drummer. Each person has amazingly ridiculous personal life stories of human struggle, accomplishments and relative success. It is with these stones and human building blocks that I continue to approach my work to build musical synapse like a mastercraftsman of music, with love, passion and sincerity of effort. When I am finally laid to rest for a little while, let it be known to one and all that I have served as a cobblestone in this road that many of the greatest have chosen to walk." Paul Collins

PCAMI* is pleased to announce the launch of its "new" division "P*BluzAlie" (pronounced Blues Ally-sny. friend, helper, supporter, assistant, partner, collaborator) to handle all matters related to blues.
Blues guitar legend, JP Cervoni of Los Angeles, CA, is the first collaborator of this global initiative along with our friend Scott Thomas, communications and marketing of Austin, TX.
"JP has an impeccable career in music" says music impresario Paul Collins, PCAMI* "and had a distinguished career with the late guitar legend Buddy Miles, eventually replacing Jimi Hendrix in the Buddy Miles Band. We are pleased to be assisting JP in this global initiative which will by its nature and concept lift all efforts related to blues and create synergy and a symphony of great music and relationships around the globe as the law of attraction applies. Scott is a creative type, talented and currently assists a number of other bands and individual musicians in addition to JP".
Here is a brief bio on JP.
JP was born in Ceprano, Italy to a musical family who encouraged and nurtured his interest in music. At the age of 12 years old, JP began playing keyboard for a Top 40 band. However, after listening to other bands play rock; he switched his interest to the guitar teaching himself how to play. Being influenced at the time with groups like Led Zeppelin, Cream, the Beatles and his greatest musical inspiration Jimi Hendrix, led him to continue his musical studies after high school by attending the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada. Not long afterward he began performing with several rock bands in town.
JP first met Buddy Miles backstage after one of his concerts. Buddy was so impressed with the young upstart and that he played the guitar left-hand-backward like himself, JP was invited to jam with him the following night. As they say, the rest his history! Eventually, JP was privileged to replace his greatest musical inspiration, Jimi Hendrix, in the Buddy Miles Band.
Since that momentous encounter, JP has busied himself performing, touring, producing, writing and recording with some of the greatest jazz, rock, blues and jazz musicians in the music industry.
His latest CD project entitled “JP Cervoni Blues & Beyond Band” includes an array of All-Star guest musicians such as: Guitars: Scott Henderson, Michael Thompson, Carl Verheyen. Drums: Tony Brock (The Babies, Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck), Vinnie Colaiuta, Kirk Covington, Simon Phillips, Buddy Miles, Bernie Galaine, Cristiano Micalizzi. Bass: Kevin Brandon (Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige), Lynn Woolever. Keyboards: Vittorio Iue. Vox: Belinda Skinner, Carmen Grillo (Tower of Power), Arnold McCuller (James Taylor, Phil Collins).
This project is already receiving rave reviews and response in its pre-release stage from the music industry.
Here is what the late Buddy Miles said about JP:
"JP is the only player after Jimi that kicked my ass!!" -- The Legendary Buddy Miles

PCAMI* is pleased to announce the addition of Gaea Schell to our prolific musical family. Gaea is from Alberta, Canada and began playing piano at the age of five. Initially interested in the classical harp, Gaea’s interests turned to jazz piano after being inspired by such legends as Charlie Parker, Bill Evans and Oscar Peterson among others. After graduating from the jazz program at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, Gaea moved to Los Angeles and quickly became absorbed in the jazz scene performing with notable such as John Stowell, Ingrid Jensen, Nancy King, Dan Faehnle, Tony Dumas and Albert “Tootie” Heath of the legendary Heath Brothers.
Gaea was privileged to receive a Canada Council for the Arts grant in 1999 that took her to New York to study with internationally renowned pianist composer Richie Beirach. Gaea acknowledges that the real learning comes from performing with those who have spend time perfecting their art and who have worked with other jazz legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Wynton Kelly, Joe Henderson and able to understand the jazz tradition and feel swing.
Gaea has worked in diverse musical contexts as a solo artist, in a trio, quartet, big band formats and including orchestral performances. The Legendary Bassist and Music Trailblazer Dr. Art Davis and PCAMI*
Paul Collins Artist Management International, better known as PCAMI*, is pleased to announce a musical collaboration with world famous legendary bassist, educator and composer Dr. Art Davis of USA and Roberto Magris, international jazz pianist and composer from Trieste, Italy. The development of this musical collaboration will prove to be the "ascension" of yet another positive force for music.
"The accomplishments of Dr. Davis are well documented and he is a trailblazer for all to see and take note. Something that younger folks like myself can learn a lot from", said music impressario Paul Collins. "Dr. Art does not need an introduction from PCAMI* to promote his accomplishments the world over with greats such as John Coltrane and Dizzy Gillespie. These legends ARE jazz, with all due respect to other contributors to this art form. However, it is indeed a pleasure that a person responsible for so much of what we enjoy about jazz is still approachable and still teems with a passion to teach and reach out to others just as passionate about the music. Just visit his website and see for yourself. (www.artdavis.com) If people want to be great, they have to learn to give of themselves. That is the take away from this message."
"We will plan some performances in Los Angeles together, thanks to The Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, there is a possibility of recording and extending this collaboration to other parts of the country and world. There is certainly a lot more living and learning to do. These are truly amazing possibilities and something to keep waking up in the morning for! The timing could not be better since Roberto Magris is due to release his new highly acclaimed CD on the SoulNote label entitled "II Bello del Jazz" in just a few weeks. This CD is on the heels of his critically acclaimed CD "Check-In" which has received radio play around the country and favorable consideration from the jazz critics from around the USA." ###

Paul Collins Artist Management International is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Saltman, bass and William Knowles, piano to our prolific musical family. These upcoming talented jazz musicians and gifted composers are from Washington, D.C., the home of the late great international jazz legend Duke Ellington. Their debut CD entitled “Sandcastles” showcases their music skills and potential as upcoming artists on the global jazz scene. Stand out tracks are: “Port 40”, “Catch a Firefly”, “Blue Ballerina”, “Sandcastles”, “Chicken & Whiskey”. Several tracks are radio ready and a good ad agency will easily see tracks for advertising to the corporate marketplace and there is the possibility of tour. Look to hear more from these talents.
“Every time I hear someone say “new, “upcoming” and has a lot of “potential”, it makes me nervous”, say’s music impresario Paul Collins, “when in fact it should make me very happy to see jazz continue to grow. I do love it when young people take an interest in the music and we should celebrate when young musicians reach out to grow in these areas. I realize there is a little competition out here, as with most things we do, but, believe it helps in some ways to bring capable talent and music to market. I heard an older jazz legend express it this way; there is enough room for all of us. We should not be territorial even thought it may be natural for us to be protective of certain things but, it does not prepare us for growth. What if Bill Gates kept his computer business in his garage? What if Henry Ford were content with building one or two cars a year? What if Thomas Edison only invented for himself? What if Oprah never gave? Find young musicians you connect with and take an interest in the ones putting forth the effort to succeed. Nothing comes without effort and a little help, which is the opposite of what the perception is. We can not do it all by ourselves as much as we would like. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes such as practicing and networking. It is a part of life. So my words are to lead, inspire, teach, support and give young jazz starts a chance and the jazz market will dictate what it wants. We may be pleasantly surprised at the results. When I think about Duke Ellington, who is beyond category, I think about someone who gave so much to music and the people around him. To me it was like he drew energy and creativity from the people he surrounded himself with. It never took away from his God given talent, it just enhanced it. In this respect, Duke Ellington is in my category for inspiration. ###

Paul Collins Artist Management International is pleased to announce the addition of Gregg Juke, singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist to our prolific musical family.
Gregg Juke, a native of Buffalo, New York, is a 20 year veteran of the music scene in “The City of No Illusions” which has spawned the likes of the Goo Goo Dolls, Ani DiFranco, Rick James, award winning bassist Billy Sheehan and countless national recording artists.
Gregg has had a long standing dream to have fun playing with a group of high-caliper musicians that can handle challenging original material as well as classic standards and covers presented in new ways. After performing everyone else’s songs for nearly two decades, Gregg has formed a group that combines original jazz, blues, rock, reggae and roots music with his own brand of contemporary jazz, blues/rock and R&B.
In 1901, Buffalo, New York was the location of the Pan-American Exposition, which was a celebration of light and electricity from the mighty Niagara Falls. A prominent Lake Erie port, Buffalo was ranked 8th in the nation. Many years later with the steel mills closed and many jobs squeezed out of the city, Buffalo’s economic bright future dimmed, but not the hopes of its citizens. Electricity still fuels the most important commodity, music. Gregg Juke is a product of the passion and determination of its citizens expressed through music.
Music impresario Paul Collins continues, “Gregg Juke comes to PCAMI* well reported on by Jim Santella, respected music and arts reviewer for the Buffalo News, theatre and film editor of Nightlife Magazine, free lance producer for WNED-TV Channel 17 and educator at the University of Buffalo, Erie County Community College and Canisius College. When Gregg and I began talking about music a year ago, I could hear and feel his passion for the music and his desire to grow in all directions. We are both very determined to accomplish much for the sake of music, which is the true motivating force driving our musical worlds, much like the driving force from the mighty waters of Niagara Falls. ###

Paul Collins Artist Management International is pleased to announce the addition of Novak & Haar to our prolific musical family. This up and coming jazz trio from Omaha, Nebraska has developed rich and diverse musical presence over the years.
The core membership of Novak & Haar is made up of guitarist Jon Novak and bassist Mark Haar. This trio has been performing together as a jazz duo since 1998. Prior to forming Novak & Haar, Jon and Mark had played together in various small jazz combos, large big bands, and musical theater ensembles, Blue House with Rent to Own Horns in and around the Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska metro areas. When Novak & Haar performs as a trio they add Carlos Figueroa on the drum set. In the Spring of 2005, Novak & Haar was added to the Nebraska Arts Council’s Nebraska Touring Program roster.
“This up and coming trio Novak & Haar bring a passion for music to the table from a variety of genres and can be heard in the music they compose. Although their primary voices are in a jazz setting, one can hear a touch of blues and the air of theater and a sprinkling of classics in the material”, said music impresario Paul Collins. “In jazz, it is refreshing to hear variations and other expressions of jazz and enjoy when artists give a brief explanation of why or how the music was inspired. As music teachers and performers, Novak & Haar do just that by adding more value and meaning to their compositions through their “thoughts about the tracks”. If you love guitar and equally enjoy the bass and drums, you will enjoy these tracks.” ###
